What is the accuplacer?

The ACCUPLACER is designed to assess your current academic skills in reading, English, and math. These test results, along with other academic information, will determine if you can register for: · Freshman English · College Algebra · Math for Liberal Arts Accuplacer is a computerized assessment test that will provide information about your level of skill accomplishment in reading and mathematics. You will take the test on a computer and use the keyboard and mouse to enter your answers and supply other information. All questions are multiple choice. Tests are not timed so you can give each question as much thought as you wish. Your results will be available at the end of the test session. Reading test scores are good for three years and Math test scores are good for two years. Students may retest once within the academic year. The cost to retest is $20.00.
